Faith. History. Science. Mystery.

Questions At Midnight Podcast

A thoughtful show for the questions that refuse to stay quiet: scripture, ancient history, astronomy, the unexplained, and the search for truth.

About the show

Faith and evidence belong in the same conversation.

Questions At Midnight follows the threads between belief and evidence, ancient stories and modern science, awe and honest doubt.

About Jeremiah

Jeremiah C. Smith brings a professional background in information technology to long-standing interests in security, biblical studies, ufology, spiritual warfare, astronomy, and astrophotography. Those interests shape the show’s approach: careful observation, healthy skepticism, and a willingness to examine difficult questions while keeping Scripture in view.

Above all, Jeremiah’s most important goal in life is to stay focused on his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to encourage others to do the same. Faith and family are central to his life; away from the microphone and telescope, he values time with the people he loves and the perspective they bring to his search for truth.

The Epistle to the Hebrews

Hebrews 12

Looking unto Jesus

Hebrews 12:1–2 · King James Version

3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
